  • Travel Technology Europe on track for 30% growth for 2012

    Travel Technology Europe, 7-8 February 2012, Earls Court, London

    19 January 2012: Travel Technology Europe – Europe’s leading travel technology event – is on track to grow by at least 30 per cent, with 2012 exhibitor numbers already exceeding those of 2011 and visitor registrations ahead of this time last year.

    In excess of 3,600 visitors are expected to attend the event, which takes place at Earls Court in London on 7-8 February 2012 and runs alongside the Business Travel Show. Visitors include senior IT decision makers from leading travel operators, online travel agents, travel management companies, hoteliers and airlines.

    To date, 60 exhibiting companies specialising in a wide range of travel technologies, from booking and reservation systems, network infrastructure and hardware, to mobile, social and web design, are also locked on the floor plan for 2012.

    Major travel tech brands and long-standing exhibitors Comtec, Codegen, Multicom, Pharos, ProCon, ISO, Digital Trip, Dolphin and Evolvi are all returning to the show. Intuitive, Hypertech, Open Destinations and Vibe Software are also returning and with a bigger presence for 2012. And the following companies are new for 2012: Travelport, Barclaycard Payment Acceptance, Sabre, AdInsight, Infinity Tracking, Hitchhiker, JFA Systems, Serious Games Institute, Teletext, Partners-Solutions, For-Sight, Dataflexnet, Raileasy4business, Traveldoo, KDS, Lanyon, 7r Openbook and Syntec.

    Highlights at the 2012 TTE Travelport Live Theatre include sessions from Tnooz. Visitors can also take part in the feisty, daily Tnooz Debates, the topics for which are chosen just weeks out from the show, ensuring they are current and 100 per cent relevant. The European Travel Technology Services Association, Travel Technology Initiative and Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International are also presenting.
